May 17th

I’d like to begin to finalize our vacation plans May 17th.  After baseball, we can all come back to my place, order some pizzas, and figure out:

  • who’s bringing what
  • who’s driving
  • when we’re leaving
  • etc.

Also, it would be great if everyone could have the remaining balance by then, so I can send it out.  It is officially due a month before we leave, but I don’t want to cut it too close.

    I did a search to find some stores nearby our place..

    There seems to be a little shopping center right by our place that includes a couple of gas stations (Wilco to Go and Kangaroo Express which is like a Wawa, a clothing store (Belks), a Dollar Tree, and a Kmart.
    About ten minutes away is a Winks Grocery Store where we can shop for our food. And of course theres is a Walmart nearby.

    As for restaurants,theres a Little Caesars, Subway, The Good Life Gourmet (seems like a good restaurant and they serve breakfast), China King (self explanatory), Mako Mikes (seafood restaurant), The Pearl (a fancy restaurant right on the beach), Grill Depot, Goombay’s Grille and Raw Bar, Jolly Roger Restaurant and Bar, Carolina Seafood.

    Can’t Wait!
